BEA 100 FinTech Challenge (8-9 Jun 2019)

Financial technology is the oil of the 21st Century and the fuels would accelerate banking industry to the next level.

Last week, cyda were elected as one of the top 12 teams participating in the final of BEA 100 FinTech Challenge. In the competition, we have chances to meet professionals and experts from different divisions and various specialties in banking industry.

Throughout the contest, we promote a disruptive manner on smartly refreshing the database to suggest prescriptive analytics. We aim at providing "fresh" , "fast" and "feasible" solution to The Bank of East Asia. Finally, our work was appreciated and won the 1st Runner Up and the Most Innovative Team award.

At last, I hope to thank all the judges and mentors providing many treasure and practical suggestions. Also, I want to give a big clap for my team - Carrie Lo, Linus Wong and Jeffrey Wong. Thanks all for making all these come true.

Exhausted but Fruitful

A lot of things have been happening in Hong Kong recently, but it is still my home, a place with lots of opportunities and full of energetic and passionate youths. 

In the last BEA 100 FinTech Challenge, Yeung WONG and I witnessed various innovative proposals and groundbreaking ideas. The candidates perfectly demonstrated how creative and how courageous Hong Kong people are. Let's work hard to make Hong Kong a better place.
